Loughborough University's Department of Aeronautical and Automotive Engineering (one of only two in the UK) has been teaching Automotive Engineering and working with major UK industries for over fifty years. From the outset, Loughborough make use of automotive-specific examples in teaching engineering fundamentals. This is an approach that differs from many other automotive engineering courses in the UK. Loughborough’s ongoing exchange of knowledge with industry ensures that our taught courses are immediately relevant to the problems faced by industry today.

  • If the university was situated a slighly closer to town, it would be easier for students to attend and enjoy events happening in town. Also it would be easy for attending part-time work since the part-tiem job opportunities is low in campus.

I loved my student life. Since I had my best time at Loughborough University. As I had my own friends gang, I hanged out with them frequently. Also, the place I stayed (Falkner Eggington accommodation) had sweet friends who were kind and friendly. We became close within few weeks. As they were from my state.
