This one year, full-time MSc course is designed to provide you with advanced knowledge, understanding and skills in the rapidly advancing field of Cancer Biology and Therapeutics.
Our aim is to provide you with a breadth and depth of cancer-focused training that will make you a highly attractive candidate to start or continue a career within the healthcare sector and public/private sector research establishments.
Throughout the course, youÕll gain from advanced teaching in the cellular aspects of cancer biology together with the molecular mechanisms underlying cancer development and progression. Through this programme youÕll also receive in-depth training in cancer therapeutics, encompassing biomarkers and diagnosis, therapeutic targets, drug discovery and clinical trials and chemo/radio therapy.Ê
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Requirements:
- A 2:2 honors degree in relevant subject area such as biological sciences, healthcare etc.
- Official transcripts of all the previous school, college or universities attended
- Relevant professional experience as evidenced by a reference
English Language Requirements:
- IELTS: 6.5 overall minimum with 5.5 in each subskill
- TOEFL IBT: minimum 90 overall with 17 in writing, 17 in listening, 18 in reading, 20 in speaking
- PTE Academic: 62 minimum overall with 59 in all communicative skills
Indian Student Specific Requirements:
- Average of 78-81% in top 4 subjects (not including physical education) in Senior Secondary Examination (Std XII)
