Eligibility & Entry Requirement

Academic Eligibility:

Students must have the following requirements:

  • SQA Higher: CCC. Higher English and a science subject are recommended. English, Maths, and a science subject are required at National 5 grade C or above if not held at Higher.
  • GCE A Level: CC. A Level English and a science subject are recommended. English, Maths, and a science subject are required at GCSE grade 5/C or above if not held at A-Level.
  • Irish Leaving Certificate Higher: H3H4H4. Higher English and a science subject are recommended. English, Maths, and a science subject are required at grade O3 or above if not held at Higher.
  • IB Diploma: 24. Higher Level English and a science subject are recommended. English, Maths, and a science subject are required at Standard Level grade 3 if not held at Higher.

Indian Students Eligibility:

  • Students must have passed 12th grade from a recognized institution.
  • Students must have Grade C or better in English and Maths.
  • A post-high school qualification (i.e. a higher national diploma, an associate degree) can be considered for advanced entry to undergraduate courses. Applications will be considered on a case by case basis

Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test.

Children and young peoples Nurses are in demand throughout the UK and abroad. Students will work in a variety of settings such as schools, day centres, GP surgeries, patients homes, out-patient clinics, and hospitals. Students will have a key role in coordinating care along with other members of a team that may include Teachers, Play Therapists, Psychologists, Doctors, Specialist Nurses, Social Workers and Health Visitors. In students role they will not only be looking after the individual with a health care need but their families and carers, providing education and support to those who require nursing input.
