Reflecting on my overall experience at University of Greenwich, I can say it was a transformative journey filled with growth, learning, and memorable moments. The rigorous academic curriculum pushed me to expand my knowledge and develop critical thinking skills. Engaging with professors who are experts in their fields and participating in diverse courses provided a strong foundation in my chosen discipline. The learning helped me actually implement and solve real problems on ground in business/work life. Building relationships with peers, professors, and alumni was one of the most rewarding aspects. The sense of community and the diverse network of individuals I connected with have provided lasting friendships and professional contacts. College was a time of significant personal growth. I learned to manage my time effectively, balance various commitments, and navigate the challenges of independence. These experiences shaped me into a more resilient and adaptable individual. In summary, my time at University of Greenwich was a pivotal chapter in my life. It was a period of intense learning, personal growth, and unforgettable experiences. The knowledge and skills I gained, along with the relationships I built, have prepared me well for my future endeavours. I look back with gratitude and pride for being part of such an inspiring and supportive academic community.
Course Curriculum :
The syllabus explained in the course was actually a brain enhancer for me. As you cannot update yourself on whats happening across the world, the global trends, the market trends, etc, all in one place was taught in this course. The Syllabus is itself a current affairs business knowledge sessions. All the business trends across the globe are provided under one roof.
Exams :
GRE: 8.0. Also had good % in my Undergraduate and got a MoE top ranker certificate which is more important for a Public University in different countries. . I have submitted SoP, LoRs and CV. SoP needs to exactly include what your career goals are and the purpose of studying in that specific university abroad. It must also include your future plans after finishing up your Master's degree. More often the SoP must be specifically related to how eager are you in joining that university and the course. You should prove that you have tons of interest to join xxxxx university and xxxxx course for particular reason which interconnects your future goals. LoR's must be in the prescribed format and must include your capabilities and the achievements in your undergrad. Interview round: Yes I had one round of Interview online. This interview was all about my SoP and my Resume. All the questions have been asked from the SoP draft which I submitted. All the interview questions is interlinked to your future plans and goals. The questions come from your SoP and resume but indirectly end up asking why do we give you seat in this university. You'll have to prove that your are more capable than others to join this course in their university and then explain how will this course help your future career.
Placement :
There are many companies who visited our university for placements. The thing is University just holds your hand and takes you till the door. After that everything depends on your personality, performance, experience, etc. I haven't gone for any placements, though I got an offer from 2 companies. I wanted to come back to my home country to continue the business or work for the government with the knowledge I have gained from my MBA. Couple of my friends got placed in many companies. The median salary is 27,000 - 30,000 GBP per annum.
Internship :
No, I haven't applied for any.
Fees :
It was 14,000 GBP after deducting my scholarship amount.
Scholarship :
I have received the scholarship based on my Degree and 12th grades which is 2000 GBP.
Faculty :
The faculty to student ratio is 1: 15/20. The major focus would be on each and every student which makes the student learn more and interact more on the course/syllabus/trends/external issues/etc. The faculty and the staff are very professional and knowledgeable. No doubt they are keen and have a passion on the course they teach and want students to interact more and bring in innovative ideas to the subject. The faculty and staff are very friendly and interactive. They are available when ever a student is in need. They are easy to approach and solve all your problems related to their subject/assignments/etc. Mr. Spiros Batas (Professor) has left an incredible impact on me.I have never seen anyone like him, he can just give a competitive business model and economic factors behind it within minutes. He is the most advanced and tech/trend upgraded person I have ever seen.
Campus Life :
Campus life is pretty good at Greenwich. Very big old beautiful campus. There are many clubs which you can participate in and also many extracurricular activities. All students are encouraged to join the clubs and teams to showcase their talent and also learn new things together. This library is one of the largest in UK. You can find multiple books, articles, journals, etc which are useful for your final research and also is a knowledge center for many. There are lots of facilities in the Library and campus. You can access to computers, work on your assignments, sit with team mates and finish your group assignments, access WiFi, use computers, use laptops, locker facilities, sports indoor & outdoor facilities, and many more.
Hostel :
I did not go for student accommodation as I wanted to stay outside and explore more on the culture and adapt to self living. I shared a 2 bedroom apartment with one person but was a very highend luxurious one. The average cost which you have to keep in mind when you are planning to stay in UK is approx 1,000 GBP per month. For a normal living you can consider approx 600 GBP per month. For a High end one you don't have any limits. These approx values include food, accommodation, uni travel only.
