Required Exams for Admission
Excellent experience with education. I recommend all my friends this university all the time.
Course Curriculum
My course is food science and it is exceptionally designed carefully by Dr. Hamid, our course leader. We had industrial visits and internships time wise. Our course is updated every year based on students feedback. The course is a wide range and easily understood by international students as it covers elements from all over the world.
Faculty
Although we had professors and doctors as lectures the ratio is 1:50 because there's an option of online learning. The class strength is always 20-30 it's easy for lecturers to clear everyone's query. My favorite lecturer is Dr Hamid, who is our course leader. He was also my supervisor during my final year dissertation. He was always patient and answered all the queries carefully. He replied all the draft thesis carefully and corrected me so I could achieve better score. All the lecturers are well trained to teach international students in particular. There's no communication gap with any lecturer as everyones English accent is normal and easily understood by many international students. The projects were easy, and there were always recorded sessions of lectures to revise, and there was always online material to download and follow up. The library has access to 1000s of online copies and hard copies of many valuable books.
Campus Life
There's another campus for sports, but the Holloway campus doesn't have any sports. We had an indoor cafe "the Rocket" Where drinks and alcohol are served but reasonably. We even had a big screening for the First Oscar award winner movie, RRR, hosted by the film and media department. We had rallies occasionally. We're proud to mention that the current London Mayor Mr. Sadiq Khan was once a London met student. We have communities for Indian students and LGBTQ, etc. We have student Union and union rep elections every year.
Placement
One industry visited and paid PhD programs for continuity students. Placements happen through the careers department, where we need to register from the beginning and approach for help.
