Thoughts on Edinburgh

IB
6.7 /10

I enjoyed it as much as I could, not just in the area of academics but also opposed me generally living my life in Edinburgh.

Course Curriculum :

Since my course was based in the 1800s, there is not particular way to judge that based on the primary texts but the secondary resources about those texts were up to date.

Exams :

IELTS 6.5 individually in all the divisions of the test. My scores were IELTS- 7. I had to submit answers for two questions in the statement of purpose and two letters of recommendation signed by my professors.

Placement :

We don't have campus placements, but we do get the opportunity to be a research fellow only if have good research ideas.

Fees :

So, my total tuition fees was 26,500 GBP, whereas one GBP is usually equal to 100 rupees.

Faculty :

We had one professor teaching 20 students maximum. Also, it was more sort of a discussion rather than the professor teaching us with slides or a book in hand which I personally loved. One of professors, Dr. Owen Holland was so incredible at not just teaching us but overall giving us the motivation to work hard for our essays.

Campus Life :

I absolutely fell in love with the campus the moment I saw it for the first time.

Hostel :

The accommodations were clean and newly built. Although, they were a bit on the pricier side but I will still prefer those rather than living alone in a new country.
