Course Curriculum :
It was well structured and challenging. We had many industry visits to companies like JCB, Jaguar Land Rover, Midlands Airport, DHL hub, etc which made the program very interesting.
Exams :
GRE is not required. English proficiency test is required. I did IELTS and scored 8 overall across 4 bands
Placement :
Nottingham is one of the top universities sort after by many companies. It has been ranked 1 for graduate employment. However I chose to stay in the academic path and secured a scholarship to pursue my PhD in Manufacturing Engineering at the same university. My colleague are working in top companies.
Internship :
I did a graduate placement and worked as a consultant with the Nottingham City Council. It was facilitated via Unitemps.
Fees :
It is 24500 GBP
Scholarship :
I received the Developing Solutions Masters Scholarship. Once you have a conditional/unconditional offer from the university you can apply to this scholarship online. They cover 100% tuition fee or 50% tuition fee.
Faculty :
Professors were experts in their fields and their teaching ability was excellent and they generally listen to student feedback and take necessary actions to improve. I’m still working with my masters dissertation supervisor Prof. Kulwant Pawar who supported me and guided me to secure a fully funded PhD studentship.
Campus Life :
Campus is very lively and beautiful. It’s one of the largest campuses in the UK and there are plenty of extracurricular work like club and societies. I was part of the formula student electric team where we competed at the Silverstone formula 1 circuit which was the highlight of my masters studies. We camped there for 3 days!
Hostel :
I stayed in a university accommodation managed by a private company. It was well equipped and homely. It was a flat with 5 rooms and two shared washrooms, kitchen, living area, laundry, etc.
