University of Skovde Campus

• The University of Skovde has a small, urban campus close to the centre of Skovde city and campus accommodations.
• The university campus houses the Gothia Science Park which has the university’s hi-tech research centers.
• There is a large parkland area on campus and the university restaurant which serves as a meeting point for students.
• There are lecture halls, reading rooms, the university library and computer rooms all within walking distance on the campus.
• In recent years, many new buildings were added to the campus as the university grew in student count.

University of Skovde Residence

• The University of Skovde offers accommodation services through its collaboration with various housing companies.
• International students are advised to apply for accommodation as soon as possible since the university does not offer housing guarantee.
• There is limited availability of well-furnished rooms and only single rooms are available.
• The rent of accommodation is around 4,000 SEK per month which mostly includes electricity, heating facility, water supply, internet access, quilt, access to laundry rooms, etc.
• Accommodation is available in Xenia, Norra Trangallen, Perenius and Haslum.
  • Xenia Hall: Situated around 500 meters away from the university. It has 90 rooms with each room having a private shower and toilet. Students are required to pay a rent of 18,500 SEK along with a security deposit of 3,700 SEK.
  • Norra Trängallén: Situated near the city centre. The Norra Trängallén has 15 well-furnished single room apartments. The apartment has facilities like bed, bedside lamp, chair with desk and shelf. Students are required to pay a rent of 4,046 SEK/month.
  • Perenius: Situated around 1 km away from the university. Perenius has 49 rooms with each room having a private shower and toilet. Students are required to pay a rent of 18,500 SEK along with a security deposit of 3,700 SEK.
  • Haslum: Situated just 20-30 minutes away from the university. Haslum has well-furnished single rooms including facilities like bed, mattress, blanket, pillow, bed table, desk and desk chair.
