Established in 1977, the Malardalen University is situated across two campuses in Vasteras and Eskilstuna in Sweden. The University offers two Bachelor’s and few Master’s programs under academic areas like Financial Education, Health, and Welfare education, Teacher education and Technology education in the English language.

Applicants are required to send in their applications through University Admissions in Sweden. The applications deadlines for international applicants for both bachelor’s and master’s programs are as follows:

English Proficiency Test Score for International Students

Applicants for UG programs are required to fulfill entry requirements equivalent to the English language at the upper secondary level called English 6. The applicants can fulfill this requirement by submitting test scores equivalent to the English 6 level. 

Visa Requirements for International Students

Basically, to gain admission into any University in Sweden, the student has to obtain a Residence Permit. Please take note of the following documents that are required to apply for the Swedish visa.

• Health Insurance
• Bank Statement/Letter as proof of financial support to manage college expenses

Admission Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree from an internationally recognized university.
  • Degree in a relevant subject with 180 ECTS 
  • Translations of transcripts, if required. 
  • Applicants are required to have an honors degree (3 years)
  • Applicants with a non-honors three-year bachelor’s degree are not eligible for admissions.
• English language proficiency test scores
• Officially issued transcripts
• Notarized diplomas and certificates should be submited, if applicable.
