Harsh Gupta Review at Singapore Institute Of Management [SIM], Singapore | Collegedunia

My program at SIM

It is one of the best colleges with banking and finance courses which had mock trading center. It is a 3 and a half hour flight form my city and I used to travel back quite often.

Course Curriculum :

There assignments were very captivating and relevant to the on-going changes in the business world. The process of research, citation and accountability was a great step towards learning.

Exams :

Admission requirements were a score above 80 in Maths and a Score above 90 in English in the Board Examination of 12th Standard. Plus I had to do a 3 semester Diploma in Banking and Finance from Singapore Institute of Management.

Placement :

Post-study employment scenario is bad in the country as getting a work visa is a huge task and it’s not just handed out.

Internship :

No

Events :

The campus is not like other huge campuses which have a separate world residing inside. It was small but advanced.

Fees :

Around 8 Lacs an annum.

Scholarship :

No.

Faculty :

The faculty were generally ex employees with management roles in huge companies with great experiences which made learning from them very interesting.

Hostel :

There are great hostels nearby, but a 3 friends and I, rented out a condominium and to be honest it was cheaper than to stay at a hostel and much more comfortable.
