Which is the best for mechanical engineering, VIIT in Pune, VIT in Pune, or MIT Pune?

NS
Nikhil Srivastav Posted On : March 30th, 2022

Among these, VIT Pune is the best option for Mechanical Engineering.

  • VIT Pune Mechanical branch is more than 20 years old. So, it had better exposure. This helps in better industry recognition, tie-ups.
  • VIT offers better placements for the Mechanical branch. It offers more core placements compared to VIIT and MIT. According to the VIT Pune Mechanical Engineering placements of the last few years, the average CTC for the branch is 5-6 LPA. VIIT shares campus placement with VIT. But few companies visiting the placement drive don’t allow VIIT students to sit for placement.

VIT, VIIT, and MIT three of these colleges are autonomous, and they update their curriculum regularly. So, you can expect similar academics from all three of these institutes.

Which one is better in terms of placement packages, MIT Pune or VIT Pune?

AC
Abhinav Chowdhury Posted On : October 13th, 2023

Both VIT Pune and MIT Pune are equally good in terms of placements but VIT being an autonomous institute offers better exposure.

VIT is visited by many banks like Barclays, Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, etc. offering packages in the range of 12 LPA-18 LPA for Comp, IT, and EnTC. Other major recruiters include Nvidia, Avaya, Oracle, MuSigma, etc, offering a decent package range from 7 LPA to 12 LPA.

Ultimately, it’s your branch and knowledge that matters because the opportunities offered by both colleges are similar.

Which college is better for MCA, MIT Pune, VIT Pune or Indira Pune?

AC
Abhinav Chowdhury Posted On : October 17th, 2023
Lives in Pune, Maharashtra, India

Indira Pune is not the best choice for an MCA degree. So I wouldn’t comment about it in my answer.

MIT Pune offers good academics, and VIT Pune is known for its placements and ranking. MIT offers an MCA in Management, whereas VIT offers an MCA in Engineering. MCA in management includes subjects such as Business, Finance, Cost Accounting, etc. MCA in engineering revolves around engineering subjects.

If you have an interest in this degree, join VIT. But if you are simply seeking a job in the Banking/Finance sector, choose MIT.

I would personally recommend you join VIT Pune. It is an autonomous college and its syllabus is regularly updated. But you must make a choice based on your preference.

AJ
Advait Joshi Posted On : May 30th, 2023

Without any second thoughts, NMIMS Mumbai is a much better option than BTech from MIT.

  • NMIMS offers a well-structured curriculum with an excellent learning environment.
  • The faculty is very cooperative and are experts in their respective fields.
  • If you are someone who has been studying diligently for the past 4 years, placements should be your last concern here.
  • The average package here is higher than MIT WPU
  • NMIMS Mumbai is visited by top companies like Aditya Birla Capital, American Express, Goldman Sachs, Crisil etc.
  • The quality of the peer group is much better and diverse at NMIMS in comparison to MIT.

NMIMS is the best choice to build your career with excellent opportunities in academics and extracurricular.

INR 3.75 lakhs

INR 2.25 lakhs

  • MIT WPU has a 100% placement rate for the last few years with the highest paying package offered at INR 13.5 lakhs per annum.
  • The average package offered to students caps at INR 6.5 lakhs per annum.
