XAT Receives more than 1 Lakh Applications; XLRI Jamshedpur Reports 40% Surge in XAT Registrations

New Delhi: As per XLRI, XAT has experienced an unprecedented surge in registrations this year with a remarkable 40% increase compared to the previous year and reaching a total of 1,35,000 applications.

The notable increase in XAT Registrations highlights the continually growing interest in management education at XLRI and other B Schools accepting XAT Scores among aspiring candidates.

XAT has a distinctive exam pattern. Unlike other examinations, XAT is administered simultaneously nationwide, where all candidates undergo the same test on the same day and at the same time. This methodology guarantees a fair and equitable assessment, fostering diversity among the candidates.

Why is XAT a Popular Choice?

The Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) is a nationally conducted aptitude test by XLRI Jamshedpur, ranking as one of the oldest and second-largest exams for MBA/PGDM Admission. Spanning 80+ cities across India, the XAT exam scores are applicable for admissions at XLRI Jamshedpur and other Xavier Associate Management Institutes. Additionally, over 160 premier B-schools across the nation accept XAT scores.

With state-of-the-art technology and innovative testing patterns, the XAT exam offers a comprehensive evaluation of potential business management candidates. Its unique focus on assessing decision-making sets XAT (xatonline.in) apart from other aptitude tests.

Meanwhile, the XAT is conducted on an annual basis for admissions to management programs at XLRI and other leading B-schools in India, including IMT Ghaziabad, Loyola Institute of Business Management, XIMB, St. Joseph’s Institute of Management, GIM Goa, Sri Balaji University, TAPMI Manipal, FORE School of Management, New Delhi, and more.

Professor Rahul Shukla, the Convenor of XAT, remarked that XAT has consistently advocated for diversity, and the design of their test reflects this commitment. He mentioned that they have conveyed this message to their candidates, which could be identified as one of the contributing factors to the unprecedented increase in registrations.

Moreover, the achievement this year can be credited to a well-coordinated campaign that aimed at effectively engaging participants, backed by the collaboration of associate business schools. Professor Shukla further stated,

He expressed their commitment to taking XAT to new heights, highlighting that they have never compromised on the test's standard. He mentioned that this year, there was a concerted effort to dispel misconceptions and convey that XAT is a smart test for smart aspirants. He also added that it is heartening to see 135,000 smart aspirants registering with them.
