New Delhi: SVKM's NMIMS Pravin Dalal School of Entrepreneurship and Family Business Management (PDSE and FBM) has launched the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) finance programme. Eligible candidates can apply for the program at nmims.edu.

This four-year finance program aligns with the New Education Policy 2020 guidelines. It has 175 credits as per NET 2020. The program has been divided into three parts: 61 courses, a summer internship, and a dissertation paper.

What are the various objectives of SVKM’s NMIMS BBA Finance Programme?

The program is introduced to cope with the changing and developing financial market influenced by various factors like regulation measures, market shifts, technological advancement, and economic advancements. The program aims to train students on several aspects of finance like financial management, financial modeling, corporate finance, investment analysis and financial markets.

Speaking about the program, the vice chancellor of NMIMS, Ramesh Bhat, said: “The BBA Finance program at PDSE and FBM, marks another milestone in our commitment to shaping future financial leaders. At NMIMS, we have always prioritized the employability of our graduates and ensured they are well-equipped with the latest skills and knowledge to succeed in their chosen fields.”

Who is eligible to apply for the SVKM’s NMIMS BBA Finance program?

The candidates applying for the program must have completed class 12th with at least 50% marks or above, having statistics and mathematics as subjects.

What will the selection criteria for the SVKM’s NMIMS BBA Finance Programme?

Admission will be made based on merit and a personal interview, and National Test for Programs After Twelfth (NPAT) scores will also be considered.
