PGIMER Chandigarh MPH Admission 2023 Open; Apply till May 15

New Delhi: PGIMER Chandigarh is inviting applications for admission to its Master of Public Health (MPH) program for the academic session 2023-24. Aspiring candidates can submit the online application form on the official website at pgimer.edu.in.

Candidates seeking admission to the Master of Public Health at PGIMER Chandigarh must submit their applications via online mode by May 15, 2023. The application fee for General/OBC applicants is INR 1500/- and for SC/ST applicants is INR 1200/-

PGIMER Chandigarh conducts a Computer-based entrance exam for the selection of eligible candidates for PGIMER Chandigarh MPH Admission 2023. The admission test will be conducted in English for a duration of 90 minutes for all registered candidates.

As per the official notice, the computer-based test comprises 80 MCQs, each carrying 1 mark. Every wrong answer carries a negative marking of 0.25 marks. The exam will be held in one shift only, from 9:00 am to 10:30 am on May 27, 2023.

To be eligible for admission to PGIMER Chandigarh MPH Program 2023, applicants must fulfill the eligibility criteria listed below: 

• Applicants must possess MBBS/BDS/B.V.Sc/BE/MA/M.Sc on or before June 30, 2023.
• They must have at least 50% marks in aggregate (for General) and 45% marks in aggregate (for SC/ST/OBC) in the qualifying degree. 
• The degree should be from a university/ Institute recognised by the Medical /Dental/Veterinary council of India/ the Institution of Engineers (India) and UGC/AICTE. 

• The applicant must have either completed or is due to complete, respective rotatory internship training on or before June 30, 2023, if applicable.
• The applicant must be registered with the Central /State Medical/Dental/Veterinary Registration Council (if applicable).

PGIMER Chandigarh MPH Admissions 2023: Selection Process

The selection procedure that will be followed by the institute for selection of candidates to MPH Program are given as follows: 

• Seat allocations will be finally done strictly on the basis of merit scored in the entrance test. 
• A merit list will be prepared and published on the official website of the institute based on the marks scored by candidates in the theory examination. 
• Candidates scoring 50% and above will be eligible for counselling.

Candidates can apply for admission to MPH Program at PGIMER Chandigarh through the official website by following the steps mentioned below:

Step 1: Visit the official website of PGIMER Chandigarh at pgimer.edu.in.

Step 2: Click on the “New Registration” link present on the website homepage.

Step 3: Register yourself after filling in the required details, such as Mobile number, Email Id etc.

Now, log in with your registration credentials and fill in all details in the PGIMER Chandigarh MPH Application form.

Step 5: Pay the application fee of INR 1500 through debit, credit or online means and submit the form. 

Step 6: Applicants must also take a printout of the form for all future needs.
