The scope of the project extends to emergencies such as Trauma, maternal and neonatal care, stroke, burns, snake bite and poisioning etc. The project will take place in the districts of Vadodara, Puducherry, Vidisha, Ludhiana, and Puri. Parul University will be one of the national task force institutes for all of Western India.

Parul University has the honor to be the only institution in the western region of India to be nominated as a part of the INDIA-EMS national task force project. Emergency care and services are incredibly crucial, as windows for treatment and cure are exceptionally small and patents can be admitted with a whole host of complications. Better interventions can help reduce the time barrier and help save more lives.

The project will also help bring all the healthcare professionals, state officials and hospitals in the participating districts together. Parul University has made a committee of multidisciplinary experts for the investigations required in the project.

The people involved in the committee include Dr. Shreyas Patel as Principal Investigator, Dr. Hemantkumar Patadia as Joint Principal investigator, and others Inverstigators such as Dr. Amit P. Ganatra, Dr A K Saxena, Dr. Shaily Surti, Dr Minaxi Chauhan (from CDHO, Vadodara), Dr Prakash K Suthar (Nodal officer of the Gujarat Govt NCD division), etc.
