New Delhi: Jindal Global Business School (JGBS) of OP Jindal Global University has launched a one-year online MBA program with the aim to empower working professionals and make them business-ready. The program is offered with UpGrad, as its Technology Service Provider (TSP).
As per OP Jindal Global University, the course is divided into four terms and each term will cover core and experiential learning-based courses as independent research projects or Capstone. The classes will be held through live sessions with faculty and industry experts.
The officials said, "The university is one of only four private Indian institutions to be recognised as an ‘Institution of Eminence’ by the Ministry of Education, Government of India. The 12-month curriculum of the 1-year online MBA has been curated to enable learners to get a thorough domain understanding and help them prepare for the demanding job market”.
Throughout the course curriculum, participants will learn about marketing, finance, strategy and leadership, and digital finance. These topics will be taught via live content, industry-led case studies, assignments and projects with upGrad-built AI-powered platforms.
To be eligible for MBA admissions, candidates need to have a bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks or equivalent grades from a recognised university. In addition to this, they must also have a valid score in the JMAT Online National Level entrance exam. Informing about the program, C Raj Kumar, Founding VC of OP Jindal Global University said: “As an “Institution of Eminence”, our decision to launch the 1-year online MBA program provides an extraordinary educational voyage, equipping our students to embrace the future with confidence”.
