NMIMS STME Indore Students Emerged as Winners of IIT Kanpur Techkriti 2023; Check Details Here

New Delhi: Students of NMIMS STME Indore have emerged as winners of the prestigious IIT Kanpur Techkriti Fest 2023 by demonstrating their skills and creative ideas. Multiple teams of the institute made it to the final round of various competitions held at the event. 

As per NMIMS STME Indore, Team TechGuys bagged the fourth position in IACR Competition for their creation. The position was given to the team for their robot designed for Line Following which can detect dead ends and reverse course without turning while ensuring that it stays on course.

Additionally, the innovative fighting robot of Team Robotech, which is created with a 12-inch cutter made from a high-strength steel alloy won over the judges' praise. The robot was powered by an ESP8266 module for wireless communication.

With their innovative concept for sea exploration, Team Technophiles of NMIMS STME Indore took sixth place in the Techkriti Fest of IIT Kanpur. They were able to discover that  90% of the ocean is still unexplored with the help of technology.

While the exploration of these areas requires expensive high-tech equipment, the Team Technophiles was able to reduce the cost of exploration machines by 87% with the help of buoyancy control through the chemical reaction of sodium azide and potassium nitrate.

Expressing his pride in students' achievements in IIT Kanpur Techkriti Fest 2023, Dr Aaquil Bunglowala, Associate Dean of STME NMIMS said,” The institute has a state-of-the-art Lab equipped with cutting-edge equipment, providing students with hands-on experience and practical knowledge”.

Adding to his statement, he shared, “The institute will continue to encourage and support students to participate in such events, enabling them to showcase their innovative ideas and skills on a national and international platform”.
