Medhavi Skill University Collaborates with Counsel India for Skill Development Opportunities

New Delhi: Medhavi Skill University and Counsel India have joined hands to launch Pragati 2024, an initiative to shape the future of skill development. MSU co-founders said that their collaboration with huge companies like Apollo, Crown Plaza, Aditya Birla, and more was very important during the launch of the model.

Shivam Dixit, CEO of Counsel India, said “With the effort of more than 300 members for about seven years, MSU has created a huge community of about 150,000 learners around the world, transforming their vision to reality through practical knowledge’.

Bobby Thakur, Founder of Counsel India, said “Beyond education, this partnership is extending to create robust employment and career opportunities for the youth of the country. The co-created programs are designed to meet the demand of the job market, emphasizing career counselling and organizational psychology.”

On this occasion, the role of counsellors in guiding students to utilize their skills for local and global opportunities was highlighted by the CEO of NSDC.

Chief Strategic Advisor of Counsel India, Devender K Saini, said a survey conducted by the Indian Psychiatry Society revealed that there is a 20% increase in poor mental health since the drastic COVID-19 Pandemic. He also pointed out the economic loss of India due to mental health disorders which is USD 1.03 Trillion.

Creating online platforms, innovative tools, and teletherapy services will help in demonetizing mental health support, Devender added.
