Management Development Institute (MDI), Gurgaon hosted a virtual inauguration program to welcome its new 37th batch of Post Graduate Diploma in Management course.
The MDI welcomed 31 new executives and professionals from various corporate fields in the virtual inauguration ceremony on November 1, 2020.
The PGDM program is a three-year executive program. For this October 2020 batch, MDI started the program with 31 professionals from the diverse corporate field.
This executive PGDM program was launched in 1999 and this program is specially designed for working executives and professionals.
The MDI executive PGDM program is approved by AICTE and accredited by AMBA.

The PGDM program also equipped the managers for managing the performance of professionals to work more effectively in the context of a globally changing business environment.
Executive Vice-President of Maruti Suzuki India Pvt. Ltd , Manoj Agarwal and Jitender Sachdeva, Group President, Skipper Seul Limited (SSL) were invited as the Guest of Honor.
The inauguration ceremony started with the lighting of the lamp followed by the welcome address of Prof. Amit K.Gupta, Chairperson.
The introductory remark of the ceremony was given by Prof. Ajay K Jain, Dean, Executive Graduate Programs, and Consultancy.
Earlier, on its official website, MDI posted an invitation note where it invited the online inauguration ceremony for the October 2020 batch for PGDM (Executive Management Program). The ceremony was scheduled on November 1 at 10:00 A.M.

The PGDM executive program from MDI has produced over 1800 alumni so far working in top management positions in RBS, Sapient, Hyundai, Volkswagen, Carrier Air-conditioning, Anand Group, Hero Moto, Maruti, KPMG, PwC, and for many.
During the virtual event, Prof. Ajay K. Jain said that this PGDM executive program is a good opportunity for professionals to groom and achieve new heights.
The program allows working in the challenging corporate world to expand the networks and grabbing new opportunities, he said.
Dr. Pawan KR Singh, Director of MDI Gurgaon said, "A modern business executive must be constantly reinventing himself or herself. This is where Executive Management Education plays a critical role."
The PGDM program designed at MDI will help the executives to address real-world business needs.
Mr. Jitender Sachdeva talked about the importance of becoming an effective CEO. He said, 'Every company has different goals and missions, which means the role of a CEO varies from organization to organization.'
This program helps to develop and strengthen the business insight and CEO leadership capabilities.
