KMC Mangalore Collaborates with Mangalore University for Research

New Delhi: Mangalore University and Kasturba Medical College (KMC), Mangalore have signed an official Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for research. The exchange ceremony was held at the KMC Mangalore campus on August 30, 2023.

This MoU entails a shared dedication to advancing research across various fields of healthcare, medicine, and related disciplines. KMC Mangalore and Mangalore University will aim to leverage their respective strengths and resources to further the pursuit of innovative and impactful research.

Speaking on this occasion, Dr B. Unnikrishnan, Dean of KMC Mangalore said, "This MOU reflects our commitment to developing research. We work together to enhance medical knowledge in a significant way. 

The opinion was mirrored by Professor Chandrashekar Joshi of Mangalore University who said, "This collaboration presents an exciting avenue for innovation at the intersection of medical and academic spheres."

Associate deans of KMC Mangalore: Dr. B Suresh Kumar Shetty, Pramod Kumar, Shrikala Baliga, Athiyamaan MS, Sourjya Banerjee, Dr. Abhishek Krishna, Dr. Dilson Lobo, and Wilson were present at the MoU exchange ceremony.
