JMI Students Emerge Victorious at National Case Study Competition

New Delhi: A team of students from Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) has won the Mappls MapMyIndia Business Case Study Hackathon. The team consisted on two students- Ansab Amir Khan from the Department of Management and Sheikh Humza from the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering. 

The hackathon was conducted in two rounds. The JMI team has emerged victorious among the 550 case submissions received from various institutes across the country. The final round was conducted among 20 selected teams. The JMI team received a cheque for INR 50,000 as cash prize, along with internship and PPO offers at MapMyIndia.

The team from JMI showcased quirky advertisement videos and quick business solutions which paved their path to victory. Rohan Verma (CEO of MapMyIndia) along with senior marketing strategists were on the judging panel and appreciated the JMI team for their extraordinary marketing campaign. 

The Business Case Study Hackathon is a marketing strategization competition focusing on B2C strategies for the Mappls MapMyIndia app and gadgets. Students, seasoned developers, startup enthusiasts, or someone representing a business or organization were invited to participate in the competition.
