New Delhi: The Indian School of Business (ISB) has emerged as the leading educational institution for nurturing entrepreneurship, both within India and on a global scale. Recent data from the PitchBook Annual University Rankings 2023 underscores ISB's position as the top choice for entrepreneurial pursuits in India.
Notably, ISB secured the 20th spot in the global rankings. The rankings by PitchBook revolve around a straightforward metric: the number of alumni entrepreneurs who have successfully secured venture capital funding for their startups in the last decade.
Impressively, ISB's alumni network boasts an outstanding achievement, collectively amassing a staggering $4.5 billion in capital for their entrepreneurial ventures during this period. The entrepreneurial spirit is evidently strong among ISB graduates, with 175 individuals choosing the path of establishing their own companies.
This remarkable feat propels ISB to the forefront, distinguishing it as the preferred alma mater for aspiring entrepreneurs. India's representation in the top 50 universities, by this criterion, also includes two other prominent B-schools.
