IISER Mohali Invites Applications for Summer Research Program 2024

New Delhi: The Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Mohali (IISER) Mohali has opened applications for its Summer Research Program 2024. Interested and eligible candidates can submit their registrations on the official website at iisermohali.ac.in.

As per IISER Mohali, the last date to apply for the summer research internship is March 22, 2024, and the research program is scheduled from May 15 to July 22, 2024. The duration of the summer research ranges from a minimum of six weeks to a maximum of eight weeks.

Key Highlights of IISER Mohali Summer Research Program 2024

The IISER Mohali Summer Research Program 2024 will be based on research and interdisciplinary coursework. It will be conducted by the students with the help of their supervisors in various fields. 

IISER Mohali does not offer additional stipends, fellowships, or financial assistance for expenses such as food and travel. Those interested can use the services of the IISER Mohali hostel mess on a payment basis. Accommodation is free to Category C students, while others must pay nominal accommodation fees.

During the application process, candidates with scholarships supporting their financial needs for summer programs will fall into Category A. Some applicants may receive support through SSR-SERB grants from individual faculty members, which will be categorised as Category B competitively. All other applicants will be classified under Category C.
