IIM Bodh Gaya Convocation 2024: Vice President Jagdeep Dhankar Addresses Students, 245 Degrees Conferred

New Delhi: The Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Bodh Gaya held its 6th Convocation on April 07, 2024. Around 245 students received their degrees at the convocation. Many students also received Scholastic Medals for their academic achievements. 

The IIM Bodh Gaya 2024 convocation was graced by the presence of dignitaries such as India’s Vice-President Jagdeep Dhankhar, his spouse, Dr Sudesh Dhankhar, Chairman of the IIM Bodh Gaya Board of Governors Uday Kotak, Governor of Bihar Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar, IIM Bodh Gaya Director Dr Vinita Singh Sahay, and India’s G20 Sherpa Amitabh Kant. 

Speaking on this occasion, Jagdeep Dhankar told the students, “This day marks a significant milestone in your journey. I am so delighted that the track record of this institution is outstanding when it comes to placements.” 

He also shared words of motivation with the students. He said, “You are embarking on a most exciting journey. In a country that is home to one-sixth of humanity, a country whose economy is on the rise. The world out there is fiercely competitive. There are bound to be challenges and air pockets…You should not doubt its success. You have been tempered by one of the most rigorous programs and are now ready to show your mettle.”

Dr. Vinita Singh Sahay also presented the IIM Bodh Gaya Annual Report for 2022-2023. The Annual Report summarized all the achievements of the institute and its members, including the new infrastructural developments and 100% placements. Dr Sahay also mentioned that IIM Bodh Gaya was listed as one of the "Top 10 B-Schools" by Unstop.
