Faculty of Management Studies Organised Conference on Social Entrepreneurship

New Delhi: The Faculty of Management Studies has organised a conference on "Empowering Change: Insights from Visionaries Social Entrepreneurship" on December 23, 2023. The event was held in collaboration with Social on Social and Goonj at SP Jain Auditorium, South Campus Delhi University.

As per FMS Delhi, the conference held on the theme of Social Entrepreneurship featured Magsaysay Awardee Anshu Gupta, Founder, Goonj, Marketing Guru Prof and was attended by esteemed personalities, practitioners, senior journalists and academicians in the management ecosystem.

The conference was sponsored by SAIL's Salem Stainless. National Mineral Development Corporation (NMDC Limited), Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL), Manganese Ore India Limited (MOIL), National Building and Construction Company (NBCC Limited), National Thermal Power Corporation Limited (NTPC), GAIL (banner ad support), and IFFCO Nano Urea sponsored the event.

FMS Delhi Conference on Social Entrepreneurship 2023

During the conference, the panel discussion was conducted by Mayank Singh, Senior Journalist from The New Indian Express, and Harsh Verma, Faculty of Management Studies, University of Delhi (FMS) and attended by FMS MBA (executive) and Health Care Administration students.

Additionally, Nishant Verma from the MBA batch hosted the event, which was managed by Tabrez Alam, Ankur Bansal, Satish Kumar, Rahul Joshi, Gaurav Kumar, Shilpa Jha, and other MBA (executive) and Healthcare Administration students.

On this occasion, Nishant Verma, MBA (Executive), Faculty of Management Studies welcomed everyone to the panel discussion. Anshu Gupta, Founder Director at Goonj shared their experience with the attendees and Prof. Dr. Harsh V Verma shared his valuable insights on the topic, “How Social entrepreneurship seeks to redefine progress”.
