DSEU Launches Advance Certificate Courses in Electronics System Design and Manufacturing; Check Details Here

New Delhi: As per the latest updates, the Delhi Skills and Entrepreneurship University (DSEU) has launched two short-term Certificate Programs in Electronics System Design and Manufacturing (ESDM) in collaboration with Elios Healthcare.

The course was launched by Dr Ashok Kumar Nagawat, Vice-Chancellor of DSEU, Prof. M. A. Khan, Campus Director of DSEU Okhla-II Campus, Sabbar Tousif, MD, of Elios Healthcare, Rai Umraopati Ray, Course Head of ESDM, and Amit Sinha, Consultant, of the Centre of Excellence (CoE), Agri.

These courses are industry-aligned and award NSQF 5 and 6 levels. They involve 75 hours of theory instruction at DSEU and 225 hours of paid on-the-job training, which results in guaranteed job placements for the students. The Centre of Excellence for Agriculture (CoE Agri) at DSEU Okhla II Campus will begin offering these programs.

Dr. Ashok Kumar Nagawat, Vice-Chancellor of DSEU said, “In order to meet the demand for skilled labour in the electronic manufacturing industry, we are excited to provide the Certificate Courses in ESDM. The program perfectly complements the government of India's Make in India initiative while also addressing the industry's rising need for qualified professionals”.

“We are helping the country achieve its goal of self-reliance and a healthy ecosystem for electronic manufacturing by encouraging innovation, disseminating knowledge pertinent to the industry, and encouraging entrepreneurship. Through these programs, we hope to equip young people with the skills they need to succeed in this quickly changing industry,” he added.

Over 50 companies from across the nation have expressed interest in offering on-the-job training (paid) and job offers to the approximately 100 students who have already enrolled for these courses.

Prof. M A Khan, Campus Director, DSEU Okhla-II Campus, emphasised, “I am adamant that the foundation of our ESDM Courses, which were specially created by FITT, IIT Delhi, is strong industry links. Our industry partnerships ensure that our students obtain current and useful information, preparing them for employment in the ever-changing ESDM field”.

“This is completely in line with the Make in India program of the Indian government, as we endeavour to develop a trained workforce that can support the nation's self-reliance objectives. We are planting the seeds for a technologically advanced and self-sustaining India through developing talent and encouraging innovation”, he added.

The ESDM Certificate Programs provide in-depth instruction in a variety of topics, including ESDM, Semiconductors, IC Design, PCB Design and Fabrication, Embedded Systems, and more. The curriculum also incorporates on-the-job training, giving students practical experience and improving their employability.
