CIMP PGDM Admission 2024 Open; Last Date Extended till April 15

New Delhi: Chandragupt Institute of Management Patna (CIMP) has invited applications for admission to its PGDM Course for the academic session 2024-25. Interested candidates can apply through the official website till April 15, 2024. Earlier, the last date to apply was March 15, 2024.

CIMP offers a two-year full-time PGDM Program which you can consider as equivalent to an MBA Degree. The core curriculum of PGDM focuses on developing essential skills and knowledge required for managerial effectiveness. Following the core courses in the first year, the program offers a pool of electives in the second year in various functional areas of management such as marketing, finance, human resources, operations, and information technology (IT). The program fee is INR Seven Lakh Sixty-Five Thousand only.

The PGDM Program offers four specialisations:

• Marketing
• Finance
• HR
• Business Analytics and Operations

Who is Eligible for CIMP PGDM Admission?

You must hold a Bachelor's degree, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA [45% for Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and Differently Abled (DA*) categories], from any of the Universities or must possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India.

Candidates appearing for the final year of the Bachelor's degree/equivalent qualification examination and those who have completed degree requirements and are awaiting results can also apply. If selected, such candidates will be allowed to join the programme provisionally, only if he/she submits a certificate by June 30, 2024, from the Principal/Registrar of his/her College/Institute (issued on or before June 30, 2024) stating that the candidate has completed all the formalities/requirements for obtaining the bachelor's degree/equivalent qualification on the date of the issue of certificate.

What is the Selection Procedure?

Selection of the candidates for admission to the 2024-26 batch will be a three-step process:

• Shortlisting of the candidates will be done based on Test scores (CAT 2023, XAT 2024, MAT 2023 & 2024, GMAT and CMAT 2024) and criteria like previous academic record and relevant work experience.
• Shortlisted candidates will be called to attend Group Discussion (GD) & Personal Interview (PI) during March 2024 (tentatively). Applicants will be informed about the GD / PI schedule through emails/phone.
• The final merit list would be prepared after considering weighted scores of various components like the Academic record, Test score, Work experience, and Performance in Group Discussion & Personal Interview. The final offer of admission will be declared in the third week of April 2024. Candidates will be notified by courier/speed post/registered post/e-mails.
