Centurion University to Introduce Three New Colleges in 2024-25

New Delhi: Prasanta Kumar Mohanty, Vice-Chancellor of Centurion University of Technology and Management in Vizianagaram has announced that the university is preparing to establish three new colleges in the 2024-25 academic year. The colleges which will be set up are School of Pharmacy, School of Nursing, and School of Smart Agriculture.

In addition to this, Centurion University has signed an arrangement with the Government Medical College in Vizianagaram to give practical training to students pursuing degree programs in nursing. The pharmacy students will visit the pharmaceutical companies located in Pydibhiamvaram for practical training.

Informing about this initiative, VC Prasanta Kumar Mohanty said, "Three new colleges would be set up with state-of-art facilities with a focus on practicals and job-oriented teaching in accordance with the National Education Policy (NEP)-2020," as reported by The Hindu.

“Vizianagaram district does not have an agriculture college. The School of Smart Agriculture will offer opportunities to students to learn advanced technologies being used in agriculture,“ he further added.

Centurion University Bhubaneswar is currently accepting applications for admission through Centurion University Entrance Examination (CUEE 2024). Admissions are open for Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Automobile/Industry Integrated, Additive Manufacturing, and BCA courses.

To apply for Centurion University Admission 2024, candidates need to have a 10+2 (Science with Mathematics) with a minimum 50% aggregate. Selection will be based on marks secured in the qualifying entrance exam; CUEE/JEE main/EAMCET/WBJEE/other equivalent entrance tests.
