New Delhi: Calicut University has begun the application process for admission to its UGCAP programs for the academic year 2023-24. Interested and eligible candidates can enroll for UG programs through the UGCAP on the official portal, @uoc.ac.in till June 15, 2023. Calicut University offers various programs in the Arts, Science, Engineering, Law, and Management streams at the undergraduate level.

Calicut University UGCAP Admission 2023: Eligibility Criteria

Candidates seeking to enrol for admission to the Calicut University UGCAP Programme, will have to fulfil the requisite eligibility & selection criteria.

• Candidates must have successfully completed their 10+2 with a minimum of 45 - 50% aggregate marks from a recognized board.
• Admissions to all UG courses will be done based on merit followed by the UGCAP counselling.

Calicut University UGCAP Admission 2023: Selection Criteria

Selection of candidates for undergraduate (UG) programs will be determined based on allotment lists issued by the university. The university will release three allotments for all student categories, as well as two special allotments specifically for SC/ST categories. The UGCAP seat allotment process consists of the following stages:

• Trial Allotment
• First Allotment
• Second Allotment
• Third Allotment
• Special Allotment

Once a candidate accepts a seat allotment in any of the three rounds, they will be required to pay the admission and tuition fee for the respective program. Failure to comply with this requirement will lead to the cancellation of admissions, and such candidates will not be eligible to participate in any subsequent rounds.
