New Delhi: As per the latest updates, the Bharti Institute of Public Policy (BIPP) at the Indian School of Business (ISB) has joined hands with Capacity Building Commission (CBC) of the Government of India to offer two online programs to students.

Under this collaboration, the Bharti Institute of Public Policy will offer an online program in "Evidence in Public Policy" and "Insights from Data for Policy" with Capacity Building Commission (CBC). These courses will be offered as a part of Mission Karmayogi initiative.

As per ISB, these newly launched aims to introduce interested participants and government officials to the domain knowledge of public policy of senior government officials. The programs will be available for interested candidates on the official iGOT platform.

In addition to this, the course curriculum will aim to strengthen the understanding of data analysis and evidence-based decision-making of government officers. It will introduce policymakers to effective and necessary tools required to create better solutions.

The ISB online courses were launched by Hemang Jani, Secretary of CBC, Department of Personnel and Training, Government of India in the presence of Himansu Pandey, Program Manager at CBC, and Ashwini Chhatre, Executive Director of Bharti Institute of Public Policy, ISB.

Speaking on this occasion, Jani said, “We are pleased to launch these two courses on public policy in collaboration with the Bharti Institute of Public Policy as the understanding of Data and Evidence is essential for policymakers. I am sure these courses will be beneficial for all policy practitioners.”

Adding to the statement, Ashwini Chhatre said, “These courses intend to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of public policies with the goal of improving its outcomes for citizens”. The institute is also preparing to launch long-term and short-term courses for policymakers.
