BHU Launches Excellence Exposure Program for Faculty Members

New Delhi: In a new initiative, Banaras Hindu University (BHU) has introduced an exclusive “BHU Excellence Exposure Program (BEEP)” under the Institution of Eminence (IoE) scheme. It allows three to five BHU faculty members to go on a tour of India’s Top 10 institutes in the field of their choice.

The objectives of BEEP include fostering connections for future collaborations, identifying new approaches to implement in BHU, and adopting the best practices from the institutes visited.

The scheme will also recognize the most exceptional contributions from those who participate and nominate them for future international visits to gain exposure and organizational learning from all over the world.

Speaking about BEEP, BHU Vice-Chancellor Prof. Sudhir Kumar Jain said, “If we have to excel as an institution, we must learn from the best practices elsewhere and adapt those for our universities. This scheme is one of many such endeavors that are aimed at achieving excellence at BHU.” He also noted that the scheme would ensure abundant professional growth for faculty members at BHU.

The Coordinator of IoE Prof. Sanjay Kumar shared that faculty members who participated in the scheme would have to create a comprehensive plan to integrate all the best practices they identified in the institutes they visited. The integration of these best practices will help BHU increase the excellence of their institution.
