BHU Forms Central Admission Committee for Hassle-Free Admission Process

New Delhi: Banaras Hindu University (BHU) has set up a Central Admission Committee (CAC) to ensure a hassle-free admission process for the academic session 2024-25. Professor Bhaskar Bhattacharya from Mahila Mahavidyalaya is appointed as the head of the committee.

The committee will ensure that BHU Admissions 2024 for Undergraduate (UG), Postgraduate (PG), and PhD programs are transparent, error-free, and completed on time. Prashant, Assistant Registrar (Academic) of BHU will act as the member secretary of the committee.

The members of the CAC include are:

Professor Rakesh Pandey from the Department of Psychology
Professor GP Singh from the Department of Statistics
Dr. Sabina Bano from Mahila Mahavidyalaya
Professor Rajesh Kumar from the Department of Chemistry
Dr. Rajnish Kumar Singh from the Faculty of Law
Dr. Chinmoy Roy from the Faculty of Commerce
Dr. Anil Kumar Maurya from the Faculty of Law
Dr. Sarvesh Pandey from Mahila Mahavidyalaya
Saswati Roy, the Deputy Registrar and Controller of Examination

The BHU Central Admission Committee has the authority to create the BHU admission bulletins for UG, PG, research entrance tests, and special courses. Furthermore, 3 members of the CAC have been appointed to conduct UG, PG and PhD admissions.

It is further responsible for releasing prospectus, application forms, and advertisements. Regarding BHU admission, CAC will develop tools like help videos and help desks to spread information about the university's admission system and procedures to interested students.
