BHU Developed 15 Courses with Assistance from Faculty Members

Banaras Hindu University has developed 15 courses to assist faculty members from the 2024 to 25 academic sessions. Courses form a part of SWAYAM initiative. Course registration has commenced, and course curriculum will begin from July 22.

New Delhi: Banaras Hindu University (BHU) has developed 15 courses for the academic session 2024-2025 with assistance from its faculty members. The university started these courses as part of the BHU SWAYAM initiative. This marks BHU's initiative in the field of online education.

Registration for the courses has already started. The program's curriculum will begin on July 22, 2024. Upon completion of the courses, students will receive a certificate from BHU. In this initiative, IIT Madras and IIT Kanpur will provide technical assistance, and the Ministry of Education and the Government of India will fund the program.

These courses are in management, social science, humanities, science, medicine, commerce, and philosophy and are designed to meet student needs and expectations. These courses are of 4 to 12 weeks in duration.

SWAYAM is an initiative by the Government of India to provide high-quality educational resources to all learners.
