This year, BHU presented a total of 7602 undergraduate degrees and 6002 postgraduate degrees. The convocation was attended by the Chief Guest Principal Scientific Advisor to the Government, Professor Ajay Kumar Sood.
New Delhi: As per the latest updates, Banaras Hindu University, BHU has successfully organised its 103rd Convocation on December 16, 2023. On this occasion, a total of 14,680 graduating students were conferred undergraduate and postgraduate degrees.
Informing about the convocation, BHU shared that 7602 students were awarded with undergraduate degrees and 6002 students received their postgraduate degrees. In addition to this, 1044 PhD, 32 MPhil, and 3 D.Litt degrees were conferred at the 103rd convocation.
Addressing the students, the BHU Vice-Chancellor said, “BHU students share a very unique bond with the university. Convocation is an occasion to strengthen this bond further as students prepare themselves to venture into their professional journey. We have tried our best to make the occasion glitch-free to ensure that the graduates take with them the best of the memories”.
Across various institutes and faculties, 539 medals were awarded to students at the convocation. The event was attended by Chief Guest Principal Scientific Advisor to the Government, Professor Ajay Kumar Sood who shared their insights with the students.
