New Delhi: The Bihar Agricultural University secures a United Kingdom design patent for its Digital Computer Device for Agricultural Efficiency Testing. The Bihar Agricultural University made this device to assess and enhance the understanding of various cropping systems including major grains (such as maize, wheat and rice), vegetables (such as eggplant and potato) and fruits (such as mango, and guava). 

Chandan Kumar Panda, Tamoghna Saha, Meera Kumari, Suborna Roy Chowdhury, Anupam Das, Dunia Ram Singh, Anil Kumar Singh, and Ajay Kumar Sah are behind this development and patent. This device may help crores of farmers and other associate professionals in Bihar as well as India.
