The Faculty of electrical engineering department has an outstanding reputation and attracts students from all over the world. The programme is especially strong in such areas as research, technology and research-by-design.
Our master students get the possibility to carry out cutting-edge research in state of the art research facilities s.a. DIMES, PVLAB and the ESP lab. The TU Delft has strong links with industry and many of our students carry out their thesis projects in collaboration with high tech companies.
The graduate programme of TU Delft offers Master of Science (MSc) and Doctoral (PhD) degrees in Engineering. We offer our graduates a challenging education and participation in cutting-edge research.
The first year comprises theoretical study, assignments and laboratory work. You will gain in-depth knowledge on fundamentals and start focussing on your field of interest. The second-year is largely devoted to specialisation and the graduation project, which involves participating in one of the university's advanced research or design projects or an equivalent assignment within a company.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement

Academic eligibility:-

A BSc degree in a field closely related to the MSc program.
Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of at least 75% of the maximum grading scale, as per the university’s grading system.
Proof of English language proficiency. A TOEFL score of a minimum score of 90 OR An overall score of at least 6.5 on the IELTS (academic version).

Indian student eligibility:-

A graduation diploma or degree is required with a minimum of cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 75% of the scale maximum. The program must be 4 years long and closely related to the program to be pursued for masters. If the university follows a class system, then candidate is required to have first-class with distinction or first class.
For the English language proficiency certificate, following test scores are accepted:
TOEFL: overall score of at least 90 with a minimum score of 21 for each section.
IELTS (academic version): overall score of at least 6.5 with a minimum of 6.0 for each section.

Following test scores are required for the admission process:-

TU Delft asks for the best GRE scores as a part of your application. TU Delft doesn’t ask for any overall minimum score for GRE, it is only required by candidate to score a minimum of 154 in Verbal Reasoning section, 163 in Quantitative Reasoning section, and 4.0 in Analytical Writing section.
For English language proficiency skills, following test scores are accepted:
TOEFL: overall score of at least 90 and a minimum score of 21 for each section
IELTS (academic version): overall score of at least 6.5 and a minimum of 6.0 for each section.
