Students interested in registering for the M.Sc. programme must initially register for the Postgraduate Diploma (see here for separate entry under Postgraduate Diplomas). Admission to the M.Sc. programme is confined to candidates who achieve an upper second-class grade in the Postgraduate Diploma and whose research proposal for their M.Sc. dissertation is accepted.
There is also regular contact with the student's assigned academic supervisor.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Requirements:
- Applicants should hold a 2:1 honors degree from an Irish University or an Equivalent University
- Three years of professional work experience in child protection and social welfare is required
- Should have academic competency and higher grades
- Academic transcripts of previous education
- Letters of recommendation
English Language Requirements:
- IELTS: 6.5 overall minimum
- TOEFL: 88 minimum in IBT; 570 minimum in PBT; 230 minimum in CBT
- PTE: minimum 63 with no section below 59
- Duolingo: 110/160 overall
