- At the university you have frequent job fairs which is quite helpful.,
- Also the university allows doing masters thesis from companies like Mercedes and Bosch due to close tie relations.,
- It has good lab facilities and during summers you have various sports activities, dance classes, yoga, etc which you can register and participate in.,
- And for international students there is a mentoring program which helps in getting familiar with the university and the culture. The university tries to make sure internationals feel comfortable.,
- There are ample job opportunities in Stuttgart for doing internships, working student jobs, and also master thesis.
- Dislikes:
- Stuttgart is a bit costly. So for more money, the room that you get will be smaller than the rest of the cities.,
- Dorm rooms at the university are small. It's clean but really small so I find it a bit inconvenient. But there are better dorms but it's a bit costly.,
- Subjects are difficult. Becomes a bit stressful to manage studies and working student jobs. It's not something I don't like but yes it's stressful to study. But I believe it would be the same for any TU because it's focused on research.
I chose this University because companies give preference if passed out from this university as it is quite reputed and also Stuttgart is known for its industries hence getting a work is easier.

- My main aim was change from Electrical to CS and wanted a bridging course with focus in ML.,
- This place is like a hub of creativity and innovation! From cutting-edge research to cool student projects, there's always something exciting happening on campus. You'll meet people from all over the globe here. It's like a mini United Nations on campus, which makes for some really interesting conversations and friendships.
- Dislikes:
- Dealing with the admin can feel like navigating a labyrinth. From registering for classes to sorting out financial aid, be prepared to jump through hoops. The campus lacks that vibrant, buzzing atmosphere you might expect from a university. It's not exactly the place where you'll find spontaneous gatherings or exciting events around every corner.
It was a good experience overall. I got what I wanted from the university. Prof, courses and friends were the things that I had aimed for. I got them all and more.

- The Intelligently crafted curriculum with tracks in my areas of interest, not limited to RF technology, microwave front end design, microwave engineering, and microwave CAD lab. I’m certain that the program has been designed to create the best learning outcomes and augment my skills to the next level.,
- The graduate program in electrical engineering opens doors for unprecedented success, by endeavoring to not only push this field forward with its research projects but to do the same for the students there, which I find to be promising for the achievement of my plans. ,
- Many opportunities surrounding the University , sports, HiWi, work, Part-time etc. the Intelligently crafted curriculum with tracks in my areas of interest, not limited to RF technology, microwave front end design, microwave engineering, and microwave CAD lab. - Labs are inadequate and less intake even though the intake for masters in very high. Doesn't allow for external thesis or research projects. This is very stupid in-fact, doesn't provide a topic in University and doesn't allow external ones.
Great, widens knowledge made new friends, learned to play new sports, new habits, new perspectives. Overall good.

- The course is very flexible, with both Electrical and Computer Science courses available. There is a good job market in the area. It is also a TU9 and is renowned for its innovative outlook on research.,
- The University has an exceptionally beautiful campus. There are beautiful hills and trails available. There is good on campus accommodation available (although you need to be quick to apply). The faculty is experienced and there's a lot of scope for research.,
- There are lots of opportunities for Werkstudent and HiWi. There's a good job market available in the nearby regions and cities as well. The city is also very international and is very happening. Transportation is cheap. It's easy to go in and around the city, and even state.
- Dislikes:
- "The only few downsides are that the courses may be a little too theoretical, and might not suit people looking for practical experience. Difficult to complete the course on time (although it's the case for any TU, especially a TU9) Getting on campus accommodation may also be very difficult. Apart from this it's a good place to study "
The experience in my Uni has been exciting. Coming to a foreign country is already a journey, but in a country in Europe it's even more wonderful. There are numerous challenges, like the slow bureaucratic procedures, the language barrier (occasional) and the finicky weather, but overall it has been an enriching experience. The education here is top class and I am excited to see how it goes.

- The university that I choose is listed among one of the top 9 Technical Universities of Germany. The course was really good. The university is located in Stuttgart which is the automotive hub of Germany. There are lot of startups and companies like Diamler, Bosch, Mercedes Benz AG and etc. which makes it easier to get a working student job while studying. This covers living and food expenses. Students can work upto 80 hours per month. Since Stuttgart is a major city, the public transport is great and you don’t need a car to move around. Major part this course was taught in English, it was an international course. The University took care of our accommodation so I was very relaxed and my moving from India to Germany was very smooth. They also assigned a study buddy (a German senior student) to pick me up from airport and bring me to my dorm room.,
- The university campus is great, it’s located right above the metro station which makes it very easier to reach the university. The student dorms are located in the vicinity of a Kilometer. For international students there are lot of inclusion programs and orientation programs to help them navigate through the university departments and to feel at home. The university also offers interactive German language courses. There is also an international centre that comes up with various events and excursions to familiarise the international students with German culture. The university has a copy centre to get Print-outs at subsidised prizes. There is a student canteen that provides food at subsidised price for the students. Every student enrolled gets a travel pass that be used from 6:00pm onwards till 6:00 am next day in the week days and can used 24 hours on weekends. Other than that university campus has got a small forest adjacent to it. Where students can go cycling, trekking walking etc. there are also some lakes also near by. Overall the campus life is very nice.

- There is nothing major to dislike about. Only thing is that Masters in Technical Universities can take more than 2 years. It’s almost impossible to finish the course in two years. Also information technology course can get complex sometimes. The number of courses in the specialisation are overwhelming, sometimes it becomes hard to choose courses as all are great courses and it’s not possible to do everything. So one really need to be careful while choosing courses as it makes a difference when one is looking for jobs.
My overall experience was excellent. It’s not just about studies but my exposure to different types of people and different cultures made me a better person. It gave me confidence that I can navigate through any situation in my life. I also learnt and watched technology, it’s good and bad side very closely. I could also develop critical thinking and think in more research oriented way. I got acquainted with German culture and their love for design perfection and discipline inspires me.

- - It is a TU9 University - It lies in the state of Baden Wüttemberg which has lots of headquarters for major companies, and thus more job opportunities,
- - The course curriculum is designed to shape the individual according to the current trends of industry - Campus is well spreaded across the region of Stuttgart and surrounded with people from different cultures - Immense job opportunities - Many Indian communities organise events such as Diwali, holi etc.

- - The state of Baden Wüttemberg has a semester fee of 1700 Euros - The University has strict policies with respect to its course and might be at times difficult for students to deal with it - You might miss the final convocation ceremony the way you must have imagined
The University is more than what I expected. Be it with respect to course, accommodation, city etc, everything was just super. Also coming a new country with its own culture and language helps the student to come out of his/her comfort zone and also develops the soft skills.

- My previous work experience was in Mercedes and my orientation towards automotive industry and related subjects here at university motivated me to apply here.,
- University of Stuttgart's location is the factor that makes it so much special. Also the university being a member of TU9, makes it the University to apply to. There are plenty of specializations to choose from be it in electrical, computer science or mechanical. There is a lot of scope for people interested in pure science field as well as there are research institutes like Max Planck and Fraunhofer. The application process is not that complicated and there are several English taught courses as well to choose from. Finding accommodation in Stuttgart can be tricky but not that difficult as in other towns of Germany. Stuttgart being the town of manufacturing and headquarters of Porsche and Mercedes, almost every student gets a working student job. So finding a job as well is not that difficult. The professors are very supportive and promote to do research and solve industry problems. And there are plenty of opportunities to do A PhD as well. The international centre at Stuttgart University takes special care of the international students and organizes several events for the new comers to get to know the university and the city. They have several partner universities which makes it a lot easier to do a semester abroad.

- There isn’t much to dislike about the university as it has almost all the necessary things a good university must have. But the major drawback of University of Stuttgart is the fees that one has to pay. It is 1666 Euros per semester which is a lot higher compared to other universities in Germany. But this is the issue with the universities in the State Baden Württemberg. All universities in this state charge similar amount to international students. Though the fee for Europeans is very low (roughly 200 Euros). So there is this disparity between local students and International students. Another specific problem one can face is with the Visa. Though not everyone faces this issue, but it’s a struggle for some to get their Visa renewed. Even the working professionals face this problem. It has been a problem since couple of years but there seems to be a solution that will be implemented this winter’23. The living costs are a little higher than the other regions but that can be ignored. For some of the modules, its observed that they are a little outdated. But I have personally not faced such issues with the modules that I have opted for.
Now I have completed 1 year at the university. My experience has been very good so far. Be it with the professors, infrastructure, academics, exams etc. I am a social person and have now found a lot of friends at university with whom I organize a lot of events as well. They offer language training courses as well which is really beneficial.

- The course I required were limited to very few universities and hence I applied to very less universities. And as soon I received admit to this university, I fixed this as this comes under TU9 universities. Also, it is a big city with large opportunities.
It is really good. Initially, I was not accustomed to the exam pattern but eventually I got used to it. The education is very practical with the grip of basic concepts. I still feel I am not using the facilities to the limit I should be using it but I am trying my level best. Finally, I am trying my best to make this learning process not same as my B.tech as it was only about passing the exams. Here, I want to look towards gaining proper skills.

- I worked in automotive industry and Stuttgart has a lot of automotive companies. Also the course also helped me to get insight about other technologies and areas of Deep Learning, Distributed Systems etc.
I remember first time when I stepped in Stuttgart, it was in December 2020 and the cous and city was pretty grey. Stuttgart is one of the not so fun states in Germany. Also due to corona, life seemed dull even around the Christmas. But when I approached the university area, that's when I felt joy. Transition to the online studies was smooth but definitely missed the whole university life experience. Comes summer 2021, and everything feels better, even though course was still online, but things started opening up. The university also offers four free student counselling sessions with a Psychologist and I opted for it as I was not satisfied with my academic performance and transition from one country to other was not easy. The sessions helped me a lot and I was able to start working as a part time job in a German startup company as well. After that I worked at many research facilities around my campus like Arena2036 and Fraunhofer IPA and company like Bosch as a Werkstudent. Everything does not go according to what you have planned as applying to the faculty department for research project and master thesis is time consuming process. But if you have done working student (Werkstudent) jobs and full time internships, you can easily manage your expenses and life life stress free. When Corona regulations finally waived off, the environment at campus was happening again! Many fun events, parties and festivals took place and made college life a fun fulfilling experience.
The University of Stuttgart is one of the best technical universities in Germany (a part of TU9). Stuttgart is one of the best in the automotive industry and for example because of upcoming developments in the field of urban transport and infrastructure; Stuttgart 2021, making it a hotspot for education and employment.
