How to Prepare for BHM Entrance Exams?

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

The year wise fee I'm paying is 84000 INR Registration fees was 12000 including caution fees of 2000 and other all fees were included but not transport and hostel Fees is increasing every year for new batches Only govt. Schemes are applicable for scholarship And if you ara domicile of uttarakhand then you will get some discount

Faculty:

The faculty to student ratio is so good that every teacher remember the names of each and every student. The faculty for the food production subject is best the name of the sir is Rizwan sir he is superb intelligent and cool minded person He has a lot of industry experience he has even worked internationally Names of the faculty that I didn't like is Smita Jacob cause she is very strict that's not a good reason to not like someone. There are 2 exams per year

Campus Life:

There are many festivals and functions celebrated in college and every year in February there is a event names la vittese in which every branch of uei from all over India come to a place to compete in many games and competition for very good prizes like money prizes trophies and medals. There is a food festival every year in which students make dishes from any one cuisine and serve them in 5 star hotel type to parents.

Our course fees is approx 6 lakhs which is pretty good ???? Our tution fees is approx 4 lakhs. Our college provides internship which is stipend and the stipend depends on the hotel to hotels. They provide good hotels to the students for internship in Indian and abroad.

Internships Opportunities:

We have many hotels group coming to our college for the internship interview like the Radisson, JW Marriot, Hyatt, oberoi hotels, Apollo hospital, Narayan hospital and many more. Stipends are dependent on the hotels and vary from hotel to hotels.

Placement Experience:

Students are given internships in the 4th semester and students become eligible for campus placements after completing their internship at the hotels most students become eligible for jobs during the 5th semester. Many companies from all over India visit and offers job to the students. About 80 to 85% of students are placed The average salary offered is around Rs. 14000 to Rs. 21000 per month. Top recruiting companies are Taj, Hyatt Regency, Novotel, and Lalit. Around 100% of students do their industrial training of 6 months in any 5-star hotel. the top role offered is that of a management trainee. The highest package offered is of 5 lpa and the package is of 1-2.5 lpa.98%students get placement. My plans after getting my degree are to pursue a master's degree in India or outside india in the same field

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course to enter the hotel and hospitality industry and also because this course provides exposure and good job opportunities in abroad countries. There is 21/2 faculty for every 50 students. Faculties are well qualified having their degrees in bachelors and masters in hospitality or hotel management. They are good at communicating in all three languages English, Hindi and Bangla so as to make the students comfortable. All the faculties provide theory classes to make understand all the chapters after that practical classes are given for the same. There are a total of 4 Internal exams taken before every end semester exam. It is not very hard to pass them as everything comes from the syllabus and everything is taught by the faculties before the exams

Nips ranchi has highly trained and experienced faculty members with master's degree in hospitality management Faculty: student ratio is around 1:15 Term exams were always on time and is not very difficult

Nips ranchi provides various courses like degree, MBA, 01-year diploma and 03 years diploma fees for doing degree course is 320000, MBA course fee is 200000, 01-year diploma course fees is 100000, and course fees for the 3-year diploma is 200000 There is no such scholarship programme but they do assist students in getting education loans from banks

Events like Abhinandan, Abhyuday, Talent hunt, and Carnival are happening on the premises. We also have a huge library in our department where we find many books related to our course. There are many groups like a smart club, creativity club, and Gourmet club which are run by students.

Placement Experience:

From the 5th semester students became eligible for campus placements. Lalit Great estern Kolkata, Lila Goa, the park Kolkata, ITC Royal Bengal, Hayat Regency Kolkata, The Obroy Grand Kolkata etc company visited our campus placements.40 to 50% students got placed. Placements were very bad for freshers. After getting the degree is to get a job in a reputed company and I want to become a more responsible and knowledgeable person.

Internships Opportunities:

I got my internship/training at Lalit Great Eastern Kolkata as a trainee in F&B service. I got stipend 1500/-. I greeted the guest, food serve, restaurant set-up, billing, room service etc. I really enjoyed my work and I really appreciate my college for giving me this opportunity to work with Lalit Great Estern Kolkata.

Yes, there are clubs for every department and they are run by students only. 1.Future and share club 2.Gourmet club These are the two clubs I have joined, anyone can join them as per their interest. seniors took our suggestions for the club Because of the club only I have learned advanced cooking and bartending skills, which will come later in my syllabus

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

I scored 2nd position in my class and I got a scholarship of 25k, Thank you Amrapqli for acknowledging my efforts. In my 1st semester, it was difficult for me to give the entire fee in one go so I wrote an application to Dean sir and I got 03 more months to submit my fee without a late fee and I submitted it in 3 different installments.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose BHM because I want to make my future in the hospitality industry and college faculties were well experienced and were all Ph.D. holders. The students were also very talented and cooperative and exams are held after 6 months that is one semester and internal exams also held.

Placement Experience:

From the 5th semester IIHM students are eligible for the placements and campus selections and companies visiting for selection are Itc, Radisson, Royal Bengal, Taj, and the package given was 3 lakh / 4 lakh, and about 90 % of the students are eligible for campus selection.

Every year 2-3 days sports day event Annual function, Freshers party. Many other events every week or month any event or program or activities are organised. And Every department has 1-1 own library lots of books. And there are 4-6 groups of different departments as per the interest like food and beverage club.

Internships Opportunities:

College provides 100% internship program to every student in big brands or chains of 5star hotels. For the internship students giving interviews on the bases of the interview, they are selected. Stipend is 1000rs but they provide transportation and two meals of the day.

Campus Life:

More than 10,000 books in library, magazines and newspapers. Our college has a well infrastructure. The classes are comfortable and good to sit and study. We have different restaurants, kitchens for practical. Our college provide good facilities of Wi-Fi. We have a separate hostel for girls and boys in campus with facilities. We have a canteen where we can sit anytime and a Nescaf?. There is a also huge playground to play sports and games. Medical facility are also provide to us.

Placement Experience:

More than 30 companies visited and 561 students placed. Top recruiters like Amarvilas, The Leela, Grand Hyaatt and Wipro HR service. In my opinion, job opportunities and placement are excellent and up to the mark and satisfied truly. It helps in grooming our personality and increase the rate of selection in top rank companies.

Campus Life:

Yes in my institute there is a lot of facilities example. Canteen (with free wifi) library, a big seminar hall, bar, kitchens, washrooms everything. And there is a very big ground outside of hostel where the students can play in evening and morning and there is a very good thing that no ragging is allowed in hostel which is most good thing, and there is a gym also. And worden also good, well mannered.

Yes college gives us certificates for good work. In our college there happens many competition like chef, bar, house kepping, and front offiece and the students who do very good, college give them good certificate which is very good in my openion, and the behavior of all the faculty is very good they teach us in a good way, and teachers helps us very hard for competition, and they held soprts also.

Placement from hotel management department is very good and it gets the highest package camparectovthe other branches of the college. Minimum package is around 2.50L and highest is around 12L.hotels like oberoi,taj,leela,radison,etc came for campus recruitment. Placement department have good links with recruiters and try to get every students placed.
