I was an e- business student at we school bangalore and the industry oriented course structure of the institute was the best curriculum i could have experienced at any b-school.
The placement and job opportunities in our college were good and the placement cell works efficiently to place 100% of the students.

Dislikes

The hostel fees are quite high 1.5lakhs per year which is quite expensive and it doesn't include food as well which is quite expensive living.

Remarks:

The only issue I found was the management was controlled by the main branch which is the Mumbai campus, and all the activities were driven by them. The degrees are different for both the colleges and hence the management should have had autonomous and independent decision making authority.

Entrance Preview:

Have appeared for CMAT Feb Entrance Exam and got 231/400 which was around 96 percentile. After assessing all my options, NL Dalmia and Welingkar was the best available option.

Can someone give an honest review about MBA from Welingkar, Mumbai, and PUMBA? Keeping in mind that I have a below-average profile until now and had a year drop in my graduation.

Having friends in both the institutes, I might be able to help you with the question. Welingkar, Mumbai, and PUMBA are two opposite colleges, and comparing them is the same as comparing the North and South directions.

Welingkar has a cut-off of 99 for MMS and in the course of PGDM, the cutoff is above 70 percentile which should be scored in CET.
If scored above 70 percentile, a person would be called for GD and PI.
On the other hand, PUMBA in CET has a quite good cut-off ranging from about 94-95 percentile.
The campus is quite good also as it offers the whole Pune University Campus to sit and have fun in.
Along with the cut-off and campus, It's also better in terms of ROI.
