- The certificate in immigration and interethnic relations has several objectives. First of all, the acquisition of theoretical knowledge on contemporary migratory phenomena and interethnic relations will allow us to better understand the specificity of the Canadian and Quebec case and the related issues.
- An analysis of the general characteristics of Québec society and ethnic communities (taking into account the cultures of origin of immigrants living in Quebec) will help to better understand their integration into the host society. The socio-cultural, socio-political and socio-psychological dimensions of adaptation dynamics will be considered.
