Well my overall experience so far is amazing. I learnt a lot and my Research areas are now more clear. I would say this experience not only tech me professionally but also helps me grow personally. People from various culture and experience share their life and it is always amazing to listen their stories.
I enjoyed it overall. It is highly fast paced compared to a 2-year program. It can push your limits but would be a rewarding experience.
My personal experience has been top notch. Being a student at UdeM is quite something once you open the course registration every semester and look at the subjects being offered for ML and the person whos is teaching it. The courses are hard and require work but the evaluation is fair and the teaching faculty are the same people who original wrote papers on the stuff that's being taught. Professors are approachable and listen to feedback, there are tons of networking opportunities and you are always surrounded by a cohort that helps you improve. Montreal as a city itself is perhaps my favorite city in North America and probably a students dream come true. Every semester students can also take up to two courses from another University too. Needless to say, I really think the experience is worth it.
It was ranked #1 for my course. The structure of the course is very flexible and the strategic management subject is ranked highest in Europe. It was a short path to entering the business world because MBA requires work ex, and MiM doesn't.
My choice of university was predominantly influenced the department research output and because I wanted to work with a particular supervisor in that department
HEC is a big name in the country also this course is ranked 7th in the world and the ample number of opportunities in supply chain in Canada makes it a worthy choice.
Because it's good in my program. I also wanted to move out of my hometown, and Montreal is the second biggest city in Canada. Furthermore, it is way less expensive than any other anglophone city to study.
It has the world's best civil law program given in the French language, and it also allows me to continue living at my family's home. The resources that the school has and give for free most of the time, are numerous.
HEC Montreal's excellence in management teaching and research is recognized worldwide. As proof, the School was the first in North America to be awarded the three most prestigious international accreditations in its field: AACSB International, EQUIS and AMBA.
