In addition to the six core MBA courses in business fundamentals you will also take four courses specific to International Business.

UVic's MBA courses include the business foundations from a traditional MBA while engaging students with the complexities of the modern world. The UVic MBA in Sustainable Innovation places as much importance on teaching methods as on the course content. Classes are small. The focus is on: group dialogue, simulations and case studies, applied projects, individual reflection, Connecting practical theory to useful real-world applications yields great results. The courses emphasize problem solving and student-centred learning, rather than lectures.This program is taught in courses in six integrated blocks. Working closely with students results in an outstanding learning experience. All this gives future leaders the skillsets they need.

• A Canadian baccalaureate degree, or equivalent, with a minimum admission average of B (70%) is required. 
• Students should have taken one of the exams between GMAT, GRE or TAGE MAGE
• Applicants should submit English language proficiency scores
• A minimum of three years of full-time managerial or professional work experience is required. 

• A minimum GMAT score of 500 or GRE equivalent is normally required. Applicants who have an undergraduate degree in business administration from a Canadian or U.S. institution, or from any internationally accredited business school (i.e. AACSB or EQUIS), and a Canadian equivalent of a minimum GPA of 75% may be exempt from submitting a GMAT score.
• A minimum of two years of work experience is normally required
• Applicants who do not have an undergraduate degree in business administration must successfully complete the MBA Business Foundations courses OR the Post-Graduate Diploma in Business Foundations (or equivalent) OR achieve a minimum of 70% in each of the qualifying courses (or their equivalents) as follows: BUS 210, BUS 250, BUS 260, BUS 285, BUS 288, BUS 290, ECON 201, ECON 202, STAT 100, plus one additional undergraduate course.
• Students who have successfully completed the Post-Graduate Diploma in Business Foundations will not be required to submit the results of an additional GMAT.

• "B" average in the last two years of your degree
• Work experience: minimum 2 years for Daytime MBA; 6 years for Weekend MBA
• GMAT or GRE (minimum GMAT of 550)
• English language proficiency
