Course Curriculum:

Industrial Exposure: A lot of networking events for industrial exposure through business school clubs and events like DECA, Law panel, etc.Research wise: Not sure about research opportunities, not really known for research. Academics wise: The method of testing is multiple choice and not writing papers. Although it is easier, writing could be more useful in the future, but MCQs are good for establishing concepts.

Course Curriculum:

I really enjoy some of the courses I am enrolled in. In Particular, I really enjoy all the digital media classes as it combines education with technology and helps me learn better. I also find it really interesting that online classes have great engagement.

Fees:

It costs 20,000 Canadian dollars per year for an international student. This is not in addition to fees such as student union. We also pay extra for health insurance. There is also an extra charge if we miss appointments on campus. Often we find random charges and financial holds on our accounts

Course Curriculum:

The course curriculum is interesting I feel like I'm always learning new things that will help me with my job in the future. I also love how it's set up and the slow increase of difficulty over the years so it's easy to adapt.

Fees:

The fee structure is in the first year you pay for the mandatory one card and get the meal plan of your choosing on it. You pay for your tuition and residence. Other costs can come in like health care, student union. You can be charged for dropping a class later and other fees like textbooks.

Course Curriculum:

I really like the course curriculum. I think that the choices that it offers are very unique and interesting. The one thing I do not like about it is the mandatory taking of the second data management class.

Fees:

Laurier tuition is less than. Mostly it provides a basic fee of courses. Although you must pay more to use the health options, if you lose your student ID.

Course Curriculum:

I like the course curriculum as it has a balance between science and the arts. Some of the classes I'm taking are math based ad science based but I also have the opportunity to work on my writing and communication skills which is important for future careers.

Fees:

The fees are paid every semester online through a credit card. You pay for tuition and then on top of that about 20 different club fees that go towards helping out the school. Other charges include textbooks, a lab coat and a dissecting kit for me. I don't find the cost at my school very high compared to other schools which are nice in case you are responsible for your own tuition. Another fee that applies to me is rent, which I pay monthly from May-May every year I live here.

Course Curriculum:

Honestly, I think Laurier has some interesting courses only for older years and first-year students are stuck with boring electives. For example, there is a poli sci class on president Donald Trump but you can only take it in 3rd year.

Fees:

The fee structure is you pay your fees twice so basically once in September and then another time in January. Other charges have to be textbooks which are so expensive and you can?t even buy used ones bc each textbook has a code for an online class.

Course Curriculum:

It's good, the course options are good, stats are hard and shouldn't be a required course for our program, but other courses are good I enjoy the history courses offered here and I am going on exchange next year.

Fees:

It's about 4000$ per semester and there are a lot of other chargers, and I live at school and I pay $645 a month.

Course Curriculum:

The course curriculum shows a wide variety of subject areas including arts and science. I'm currently taking sociology of physical activity, human physiology, ecotourism and the environment, athlete development and biomechanics.

Fees:

First year I paid the largest amounts of money for tuition and residence costs. Although there were many other charges such as meal plan, bus pass and activity fees. There were many other little fees worked into the invoice for many different things.

Course Curriculum:

The program requires a lot of qualitative work which I did not expect. Few quantitative course are expected of us. Often feels like I'm being assessed on memorizing and regurgitating little details. Otherwise, some courses can be very well structured and give a good hands on approach, helping me gain transferable skills.

Fees:

You pay for tuition but are charged for services on campus such as student council, the business student council, an eco fee, a refuge fee, a meal plan if you choose to have one and so on. You can opt out of the insurance they automatically charge you for and are charged an additional fee if you take an online course.
