  • Its a mix. Both theory and practical de pending on the course.
  • Everything was positive no negatives for me.
  • Generally student count for each ranges from 20 to sometimes a higher of 50-60.
  • There were I remember somewhere around 50-60% of students were Indians that were enrolled in the course. But there are different numbers in each subject of the course.

Fees

  • For me it is mostly the tuition fees. Its charged per term. There could be other fees such as admin fees, registration fees etc.

  • Breakup of expenses-
Tuition fees - 2600CAD (per term)
Monthly Rent - 800 cad per month
    Groceries- 300 cad per month
    Utilities- 100 cad per month

  • Rest depends on individuals lifestyle as how one wants to spend the lifestyle out there and with their available resources

With psychology, many things are changing all the time, and courses must be updated frequently. In general, my program has done a good job of this!

Fees

I pay approximately $3000-3500 CAD per semester, depending on the number of courses (usually around $650 CAD per undergrad course, plus $300/year for medical/dental coverage, and $80/semester for a bus pass (mandatory), in addition to ~$100 of various fees (student union, athletics, etc)

As it is a thesis based course, a lot of help is provided by the University in terms of research. We are also provided with an option of taking electives, related- or otherwise unrelated to our course.

Fees

7000 Canadian Dollars/year.

I am currently in the first year that too through taking my classes through the online medium. What i was told is that I will be taking courses from all specializations uptil my 3rd year where i will be told to choose a specialization on the basis of what i developed an interest in during the first two years of my study here so that should make it clear so as to what i would want to do in the future. Being new to the program, I feel like the program has been good enough to this point

UVic is one of the most popular universities in Canada given it's great reputation and location. It's also one of the oldest universities in Canada. It offers three specializations under it's Bcom program i.e Service Management, entrepreneurship and International Management. Students can further advance into fields such as investment banking, human resources etc thus proving to be a very versatile program for students not sure what they wanna pick initially.

The course curriculum is generally good, there are a lot of science required courses that much be taken in order to graduate with the degree. Generally the first two years are laid out for you and after that it is easier to take your own path and focus in on the courses and programs you get more interested in.

Fees

Tuition is generally around $550 per course or $650 per computer science or engineering courses along with $400 for medical and dental (unless you opt-out) and about $200 per semester in student fees and $80 per semester on a bus pass (required) as well as athletic fees and others. Usually, if you're in a full course load not with engineering it is around $6000 per year

The curriculum for this course tends to be quite difficult in the first year and continues to be challenging however as long as a student does not procrastinate and does all reading/assignments/homework they should succeed.

Fees

I received a scholarship from the school for my grades. The fee of my program is around 6,000 per year, however, it had not been necessary for me to take out any loans. 1st year I received an entrance scholarship of $2,000 and have applied for many other scholarships which I have not heard back from.

I really like it! Over all I feel like it teaches us skills we will needs for the working world and gives us critical thinking skills we will need in order to be successful in the working world. In the first two years it is mostly learning the building blocks of how to do our science, and last two years applying it practically.

Fees

You pay tuition by end of the first day of your new semester. It is around three thousand dollars a semester but you get charged for random things like being a day late to hand in your tuition check and parking is awful. Very few classes have a materials charge.

The course curriculum is classical and contemporary; I feel confident in each sociological paradigm and how to apply this understanding to current social issues. I would recommend the university produce more courses on management.

Fees

The fee structure is average university price; additional charges support clubs and campus movements, and the brand new gym costs less than a regular gym, at $106 for 4 months.

Since I am an honors student, my class choices are somewhat limited, but all the required courses are very interesting. The program also offers very interesting electives. I think the curriculum is shifting to focus on more practical work.

Fees

Tuition was due at the end of the first month of each semester. I find it less expensive than the tuition of other schools. We paid athletic fees etc. and also each co-op term you undertook cost you a fee.

I'm not sure about the other programs, but this specific program offers many choices for classes, starting in the second year. This programs acts as a pre-med program in Canada, so all the choices are based on medicine, even various specialties.

Fees

The tuition is very low, being around $5000 CA per year. However, if you plan to live on campus, it can get pretty pricey, at around $12000 a year.
