To apply, I submitted a CV, Statement of Purpose (SoP), provisional degree of graduation, 12th degree, marksheets, no backlog certificate, and character certificate. Some courses also required an audition video. My CV highlighted relevant experiences and Extra curricular, while my SoP articulated my academic and career goals. Also, submitted LORS as additional thing but was not required. It is top ranked and reputed among colleges in Canada and was located in Toronto. My program is the one want to base my career on. I am trying to get into Data Analytics or data science, with the skills my course, Business Insights and Analytics, taught me. My experience at Humber College, particularly in the Business Analytics program, was mixed. The campus, Lakeshore, offered scenic views as it is located beside the lake. Despite a vibrant campus life with frequent events, the lack of placements was disappointing. The program's practical focus was valuable, but the syllabus felt brief and included unnecessary subjects. Additionally, the high fees compared to other colleges made it less worthwhile. It is 22000CAD and is not worth the cost.
Course Curriculum :
The course syllabus is brief on subjects while included a lot of unnecessary subjects. Courses are designed to be practical and studied on laptop only.
Exams :
My IELTS 7.5, Usual minimum score: 6.5-7. Percentage more than 65% in your degree or 12th.
Placement :
College does not provide placements but only refer to career fairs and other opportunities. It is mostly banks, and median salary should be 50-60K CAD.
Internship :
I am currently looking for opportunities to start in Summer.
Fees :
22000 CAD
Scholarship :
I did not receive any
Faculty :
It is a class of 55 students. Faculty is lenient at time and staff is friendly. Some are well versed, most of them are approachable, with some exceptions.
Campus Life :
Mine is Lakeshore campus with old buildings and open space but no ground. it is beside a lake so good scenery and vibes, Campus life is great with events , stuff happening every week for both main campuses. Libraries are digital, wifi throughout campus, Gym/sports facility available with programs every week.
Hostel :
It is not shared I believe but super expensive. I am renting out outside to a far-off place which is better for me. I pay 500$ for a shared room and takes me 50minutes to reach college. Close Walking places to campus is expensive and usually 10 minutes by walk. They cost around 650-700 for shared and 800-1100 for private.
