McGill University, being one of the premier research institutes of the country has truly lived up to its expectations as it has given me a great platform to start my research career with its strong research abilities and a great international outlook. I'm really glad that I took this decision to pursue my masters from this university and looking forward to graduate soon.

Yes, I am in a thesis program where i am working in a research lab by taking MRI of subjects and analyzing them as my research work.

14:1. Faculty and staff are very approachable and friendly. Dr. Siddiqi, under whom I took Computer Vision course was a very enthusiastic professor who made complex topics easy to understand.

Campus Life

There are a lot of active clubs within each department in almost any field that a student can think of. Sports facility is top notch with several huge libraries around the campus.

Placement

Campus placements are not a thing in foreign countries and it is the responsibility of students to secure a full time job by attending job fairs and building connections.

University accommodations can be a bit expensive over 1000 CAD per month. Rentals close by can be got for about 550-600 CAD on a sharing basis.

Exams

GRE: 317/340, Quantitative 166, Verbal 151, Writing 4.5 IELTS 8/9, Reading 9, Listening 9, Writing 7, Speaking 7 Yes, I submitted SOP, LOR and CV. I mentioned my key strengths and points on my SOP, LORs were written by my undergraduate professors. My CV has a few internships related to my field. I had interviews with my PI from this university who selected me to work in his lab to complete my thesis for the masters program.
