The course curriculum is very much updated to the current industry standards. The assignments and projects did give an individual an opportunity to research about the industry and were very complex and challenging. However, there weren't much networking opportunities in the finance sector for new grads as compared to accounting networking events.
The total tuition fees was 40,000 CAD approximately which comes around 25 lakhs approximately.
There are 60 credits in my course . I have to score 60 credits to pass this course which will provide me great knowledge about the program. There are 35 students in each and every classroom of different cultures
The program was cheaper than any other program in this college and the tution fees of this course is 19000cad wich was all around 25lakhs in inr which was too expensive for me but i took admission by taking loan
Our college provides really good learning experience which is valid in the actual world they connect you with industry experts and take you out of your comfort zone if you are marketing student.
CAD 19,101 For a year (for 8 courses/ subjects)
I think it covered a lot of relevant aspects and it did prepared me for the job interviews but there can be few 1st level courses that can should be replaced with some courses which are not required in the curriculum. Faculty did share their industrial experience and research experience.
Around 19000 CAD.
Course is up to date. However , don't expect new age concept like web3 or bitcoin to be taught. Student will get few research projects on different companies.
$18,000-19,000 CAD
I completed 20 courses with 3 credits each. I ended up completing 60 credits. The course had its own pros and cons. The course included all the important and essential topics needed for Data Analysis but definitely included a couple of courses which were not required at all and were just there to increase the fees.
Douglas College is expensive. The fees were 5 times the domestic. I had to apply for a loan to pay it off. There are not many options for international students but make sure you have covered the fees first before applying. The deadlines are non-extendible.
I was definitely able to build my Tech Stack, and portfolio in order to land a job after finishing my course. The courses covered important technologies which are used in the industry today. I also had the chance to do a Co-op for about 8 months.
CAD 20,000 - 25,000 excluding expenses
I was pretty much satisfied with College curriculum apart from the upgrading math course that i had to do, which was one of the most expensive course, worst part was it credit didn’t even count
38000
It's good and has the right courses needed for the programs. It had at least twenty courses with classes for at least three months including two midterms and one final. It gave us a chance to learn the variety.
Fees were a little too much that I felt being an international student. For domestic it was one fourth ours which felt kind of discrimination as we already had other too many expenses not forgetting the fact that we are not from the same currency country.
Some courses are more knowledge-based then skills, and it's sometimes harder to obtain a knowledge-based grade when you are not book smart it would be interesting to see teacher apply the work to real-life situations where it may be easier for everyone to connect.
Other charges may include regular school fees and some are medical or optical but there is a way to opt-out of those charges.
