The University of Adelaide is one of the best universities and I really liked the course structure of the University. I have an opportunity of completing my research for a year. This would help me further to complete my Ph.D. Also, Adelaide is a very peaceful and beautiful city which was one of the other reasons to choose this University.
Course Curriculum :
The faculty is really good. All the professors are really helpful. They explain everything in a great manner and make it very simple for anyone to understand.
Exams :
I opted for this program because I always wanted to do something for the humankind. And this course will further help me in researching something that would benefit humankind. I have always wanted to be a scientist because science has inspired me since childhood. I was very curious as a child and always wondered how things happened. I gave IELTS and my score was L - 8 R - 8 W - 7 S - 7 and overall 7.5
Internship :
I don't have much idea about the placements and job opportunities. I haven't looked into it well as I am just done with one semester here. But there are a lot of opportunities in the different fields.
Fees :
The fees are to be paid every semester. There are a lot of scholarships available for international students. I received a 15% scholarship. I also have taken a loan from a bank in India to support my finances. Other than that my parents are sponsoring my studies along with my grandparents. I am really grateful for the same.
Faculty :
No, internship that I know about are available on the campus. There are many campus jobs available like in the canteen or in the library. People can also stand for elections of different clubs. People can apply for volunteering opportunities.
Hostel :
I stay off-campus in a nearby suburb. On-campus accommodation I found a little expensive. I stay in an only female accommodation right now in one of the suburbs nearby. Travelling is also easy. Public transport is available.
