UWA is one of the best universities in Australia as it falls in the group of 8 universities in Australia. Also, UWA is known for its research and is the only uni in western Australia to be on such a high level for my course
Course Curriculum :
My course was a fully practical-based approach with all the faculty and facilities devoted to the betterment of each individual student. They also provide internships in well-renowned companies which helps in finding jobs with an industrial experience
Exams :
UWA accepts mostly all English exams including IELTS, PTE, and TOEFL. I scored an 8 in IELTS. The basic requirement for IELTS in my university is 7 bands.
Placement :
I was in my last semester and companies started contacting us and recruiting us for jobs. Which is great. Industries do not recruit on the basis of marks of individuals but through interviews and knowledge.
Internship :
Yes, I successfully completed 2 internships during my 2-year course.
Events :
Campus life is one of the best experiences of my life so far. The campus is fully equipped with WiFi in the entire 1.2 km radius which includes 3 grounds for sports, 2 large swimming pools, 2 auditoriums, 4 libraries, and separate buildings for each of the 48 departments.
Fees :
My course fee was $5000 per unit, and for one semester I had to complete 4 units, which makes one semester fee $20000 and one year fee $40000.
Scholarship :
yes, I got a scholarship of 10000 dollars per year.
Faculty :
The faculty of Earth Sciences is the faculty that is responsible for my course. It also includes courses on Environment, Geography, Geology, Oceanography, GIS and many more.
Hostel :
My accommodation was inside the university which has a separate unihall for all incoming international and national students which includes food gym and many more facilities at affordable price.
